The Boulay Bay closed-road course in Jersey was first used for competition in 1920. Hillclimb events have been held here every year since then, except during the German occupation of WWII. In 1947 Bouley Bay was one of only five venues in the inaugural British Hillclimb Championship and it has hosted championship events ever since. Achieving a good time here requires precise driving and cars to be well set up for the challenging corners that include Café, Les Platons, Radio and Quarry.
